I bought this item about two years ago from Ki no Kura Senyu, a woodworking and lacquerware studio, on Creema.
I only displayed it once.
It's very cute, but I don't have space to display it in my room.
It's so lovely, so please display it in your home.

?The cypress wood for the mochi is finished without any coating. The color of the cypress may slightly darken over time, but this is a natural phenomenon of solid wood, so please rest assured.
?Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or placing it in an excessively dry environment can cause cracking. Please avoid direct sunlight and be careful not to let the space become too dry.
?When storing, it is recommended to wrap it in bubble wrap and store it in a cool, dark place.
?The base of the kagami mochi has been treated with natural oil (egoma oil). Over time, the oil may diminish, and the base may appear slightly faded. In such cases, applying a small amount of oil again will restore its luster and depth. Recommended oils for application are wood product oils or natural drying oils such as linseed oil, walnut oil, or egoma oil.
